National Ploughing Championships

Our exhibition titled ’90 Years of Dáil Éireann’ celebrating the 90th anniversary of Dáil Éireann will be the centrepiece to the Houses of the Oireachtas presence at this year’s National Ploughing Championships. Last year over 10,000 people visited the Oireachtas stand and we are expecting even greater interest this year. A ‘Speakers Corner’ will also feature where the public will have an opportunity to hear members of the Oireachtas give views on agricultural and rural affairs. A children’s parliamentary workshop will complete what we hope to be a very successful participation in what is Ireland’s single largest annual rural event.
